Known as the sunshine vitamin, vitamin D is produced naturally in the body, but it can be hard to get enough daylight to trigger the reaction.

Vitamin D regulates the amount of calcium and phosphate in the body, both needed for healthy bones, teeth and muscles. It is found naturally in a small number of foods including oily fish, red meat, liver and egg yolks and in fortified food like breakfast cereals and fat spreads but Vitamin D is known as the sunshine vitamin, because our bodies generally rely on our skin making vitamin D from sunlight.
Public Health England recommends that everyone should consider taking a vitamin D supplement in winter and that people at greater risk of low levels should do so all year round.

DIRECTIONS
Adults, take 1 tablet daily with food & water. Do not exceed recommended daily dose.

You should not take supplements as a substitute for a varied balanced diet or healthy lifestyle. Store in a cool, dry & dark place, under 25 degrees, out of reach of children.
